Google Drive
Connect using your own Google OAuth application and the site’s displayed redirect address. Image Manager stores its backups in a dedicated folder.
S3-compatible storage
Provide the public HTTPS endpoint, region, bucket, private prefix, credentials and addressing style required by your provider. Run the connection test before use.
Transfers run between your WordPress installation and the chosen provider. The destination stores recovery archives; it does not replace the site’s live media URLs or act as a CDN. Local download-only use remains available.

Verify a small backup before scheduling
- Save the destination settings and complete the provider connection or test.
- Create a small portable backup and send it to the destination.
- Wait for verification and check that you can retrieve the copy.
- Choose Daily or Weekly scheduling, the backup scope and profile, and the retention count.
Transfer progress survives requests, with pause, resume, stop and foreground processing controls. Retrying a transfer uses its saved state. Provider operations and host connectivity must work for the selected destination.
Retain the copies you need
Choose between one and thirty completed remote backups; the default is three. Retention applies to this product’s indexed backups in the current destination after a newer copy has been verified.
Keep a local snapshot after upload, or allow its removal after remote verification. Optional encryption for scheduled archives requires a supported host and a saved encryption password. The site’s scheduler determines when unattended backup work can run.
Recover without losing track of the destination
Bring an indexed remote archive into local recovery, verify it and use the ordinary selective restore workflow. Encrypted contents require their archive password.
Disconnecting or changing providers leaves existing remote files in place. Reconnect the original destination when you need Image Manager to manage those entries, or retain copies through the provider’s own tools. Provider credentials are not included in portable media backups.
