More than a single-use discount
One credit system. Several ways to use it.
A one-off code solves one discount. Reusable Store Credit keeps the unused value available for another eligible order, with clear ownership and an activity history. Put it to work for customer care, prepaid purchases, gifting or your own customer referral program.
Issue with purpose
Choose an account or email recipient, set an amount and reason, review the terms, then confirm. Keep private staff notes separate from the customer message.
Sell and send gift cards
Offer fixed values, presets or permitted custom amounts. Send to an email recipient, schedule delivery and let the recipient claim the card into their account.
Reward introductions
Give the friend a first-purchase discount or later credit. Set the referring customer’s reward independently.

Signed-in customers with account-assigned credit choose Apply store credit at supported cart and checkout screens. They can remove it again before placing the order. No code search is needed for those owned account credits, and existing credit is never spent automatically simply because it is available.

Here, the customer chooses to apply $50 of available credit to a $299 order, leaving $249 to pay through the store’s normal checkout. The credit remains removable before the order is placed.

Email recipients can use the code with the matching billing email or claim the existing card into their account. Store Credit and Gift Card balances remain separate, and the store’s normal gateway handles any remaining eligible amount.

The completed AffiliPartnerCS integration connects eligible partner payouts to reusable Store Credit. AffiliPartnerCS keeps the commission, payout terms and settlement history; Store Credit owns the issued account credit, its available and reserved amounts, and later redemption.
The individual Refer a Friend program remains separate from professional affiliate relationships. It works with Store Credit’s standalone processor or the compatible AffiliPartnerCS customer-referral processor without enrolling shoppers as business partners.

Know where value stands
Available, reserved, redeemed and adjusted amounts have different meanings. Inspect the events rather than guessing from a coupon’s original face value.
Make combinations intentional
Choose permitted products, categories and coupon combinations. Referral qualification and each side’s later reward spending have separate policies.
Recover without duplicating credit
Permanent purchase, reward and payout references let retries find the original outcome. A notification failure is not permission to issue value again.
Store Credit is used through WooCommerce’s discount and order system. It is not a cash wallet, money-transfer service, multi-currency converter or automatic subscription payment gateway.
