Install and establish the account flow

  1. Back up the site files and complete database together. Use a staging store for the initial account and checkout walkthrough.
  2. Install the B2B plugin through WordPress. On an existing installation, use the replacement update flow.
  3. Open the License tab of B2B (WooCommerce → B2B, or AffStackDev → B2B with the Suite) and activate your B2B license key for the right site environment (a site administrator does this). Without an active license B2B keeps what it has saved, but no business change can be made.
  4. Open B2B under WooCommerce or AffStackDev Suite. In Tools, review the installed version, database and companion connections.
  5. Choose the store experience and create a business signup page in Setup & defaults.
  6. Create a named business group with your own terms, submit a buyer application and approve it from Accounts.
  7. Check a product, cart and checkout as the approved buyer and as an ordinary customer.

Add the next part of your workflow

Application questions

Collect the business answers and private documents you need.

Quantity prices

Prepare price books, review thresholds and activate the correct schedule.

Repeat ordering

Configure the buyer portal and order form, then try a saved purchasing list.

Quotes

Enable quote requests, set thresholds and complete the offer and total acceptance journey.

Tax exemptions

Let approved business customers apply for tax exemption with their documents, and approve each request for a destination and an end date. Applying removes no tax until you approve it.

Keep your store maintainable

Exclude personalized account, order-form and private quote routes from shared page caching. Check the actual theme, checkout and payment gateway you use, along with the installed promotion products.

Tools can export business records and separate support diagnostics. Record exports contain metadata for attached documents; a complete database backup is needed to preserve the originals. Deactivation and uninstall retain B2B data.

If a route returns 404 after activation, save WordPress Permalinks once. If Tools reports a compatibility hold, review the named product and send the relevant support diagnostics.

Build the business relationship.

Set the terms, support repeat buying and keep negotiated orders in one workflow.
