Common questions

Why was an image skipped?

It may already be efficient, lack an eligible public association, exceed a processing limit or require an unavailable encoder. Review the result and Tools before changing the policy.

Why does a page still show the original?

Check approval, global delivery and the individual image choice, then the rendering path and cache. The public HTML check and browser check answer different parts of that question.

Can I work without the enhanced interface?

Yes. Disable enhanced navigation and live progress to use normal WordPress forms. A compatible Suite PHP-mode preference also applies.

Do backups recreate my whole website?

No. They recover media and supported metadata. Keep full-site backups for pages, products, orders, the database and code.

Does Image Manager need Suite or WooCommerce?

No. Both are optional. Image Manager has a standalone Media workspace and its own free product key.
