Start with the attachment

Quick details brings the preview, file type, dimensions, size, metadata and organization together. From that context you can open the native WordPress attachment editor or choose an Image Manager action.

Use Check usage when you need to understand how an attachment is referenced. The check runs in batches, with pause and resume controls for larger collections of editable content.

Products and galleries

Find supported WooCommerce product images, variation images and gallery references when WooCommerce is installed.

Saved content

Check supported media blocks, file links and image URLs stored in content that your account can edit.

Permission-aware results

Open the available edit links from the result list. Content outside your editing permissions is not exposed by the check.

Use the results to plan the change

  1. Open Quick details for the attachment and choose Check usage.
  2. Let the batches finish, or pause and resume the saved check.
  3. Review the found references and any incomplete-result message.
  4. Open the affected content to decide whether to retain the attachment, choose an edited copy or update a saved link.

The check reports up to one hundred matches. CSS, theme files, arbitrary custom fields, page-builder storage, widgets, options and external sites can contain references outside this check. An empty result is not proof that a file is unused or safe to delete.

Choose the change that fits

Keep both versions

Save an edited copy when a campaign or page needs its own variation of the image. Existing content continues to use the original.

Keep the attachment identity

Use replacement when supported ID-based references should follow a new source. Review separately saved file URLs afterward.
