Set the offer window
| Control | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Starts | The offer may apply at the start time. Leave blank for no starting boundary. |
| Ends | The offer stops at the end time. Leave blank for no ending boundary. |
| Site timezone | Use the timezone displayed in the rule editor when choosing local dates and times. |
When both dates are set, the end must be later than the start. An enabled future rule shows as Scheduled in the rule list while its schedule prevents it from applying early.
Keep live control close at hand
An offer needs both an enabled rule and an enabled pricing engine. Disable one rule by saving it as a draft. Pause the engine to stop all Dynamic Pricing offers without deleting your saved rules.
Schedules are checked as the cart is calculated. They do not rewrite catalog prices or depend on a background task changing prices at midnight.

Make priority match your offer policy
Lower priority numbers are considered first. With First rule by priority wins, the first matching rule that actually reduces a line wins. With Compare offer savings, a later offer replaces conflicting offers only when its total savings are greater. Complete sets stay together.
Choose customer-friendly rule names so the applied offer remains understandable in cart details and on the order.
Recheck a quote at checkout
Checkout checks the active rule, revision and schedule again. If an offer has ended or changed since the cart was priced, the customer must refresh and review the recalculated total.
The simulator uses the current time. Use it during the relevant window, or check a draft’s pricing logic before assigning its final schedule.
