One reached break, one price for qualifying units

For a $100 catalog unit, set a base percentage discount of 5%, then add breaks of 5 = 10 and 10 = 20. With no other exclusion or coupon, the result is:

Matching quantityDiscount per eligible unitOffered unit price
1–45%$95
5–910%$90
10 or more20%$80

This is bulk pricing: reaching ten gives 20% off every eligible unit. It does not price the first four units at one rate and later units at another.

Wool socks rule with six-pack and twelve-pack breaks and Bulk: one rate for all matching units selected.

Combine matching products or count each line

Across matching products

Three eligible units on one line plus two on another reach the five-unit break together. Only items matching the rule and passing its exclusions count.

Within each cart line

Those same lines have quantities of three and two. Neither reaches five. Separate lines remain separate even when they contain the same SKU.

Choose what happens below the first break

The rule’s base value applies below the first break whenever the rule otherwise qualifies. Set Minimum quantity to the first break if you want no offer below that point.

Break values use the selected adjustment: a percentage, an amount off each unit, or the lower unit price itself. The same price floor and single-winner policy still apply.

Review the quantities that matter

  1. Save the base rule and its quantity breaks.
  2. Simulate just below a threshold, at the threshold and above it.
  3. Review sale and product exclusions that remove units from the count.
  4. Check the chosen overlap strategy when another saved rule also matches.

The simulator applies one chosen quantity to each selected sample product. Use a cart check when the scenario needs different quantities on individual lines.
