AffStackDev Dynamic Pricing / Getting started
Build your first offer with a clear check at each step.
Start with a small product scope, inspect the pricing in the simulator, then enable the offer and review a matching cart. Keep the rule name useful to both customers and store staff.
$99 USD · Purchased-item discounts · Bulk quantity breaks
Check your starting point
| Requirement | Baseline |
|---|---|
| WordPress | 6.7 or newer |
| WooCommerce | 10.0 or newer; required |
| PHP | 7.4 or newer, with 64-bit integers |
| With Commerce Core | PHP 8.1 or newer |
| Product types | Simple products and individual variations |
Use WooCommerce → Dynamic Pricing, or open Dynamic Pricing within a compatible AffStackDev Suite. A new installation starts paused; an update keeps the existing engine setting.
Create and test the first rule
- Open the License tab of Dynamic Pricing (WooCommerce → Dynamic Pricing, or AffStackDev → Dynamic Pricing with the Suite) and activate your Dynamic Pricing license key for the right site environment. Without an active license no rule is applied.
- In Settings & integrations, review the customer eligibility policy and the current decision owner.
- Create a rule with a clear name. Choose a percentage discount, per-unit reduction or fixed lower unit price.
- Select matching products or categories. Review the default sale exclusion and any product exclusions.
- Add minimum quantity, matching spend, a unit price floor or bulk breaks as needed.
- Set an optional start and end time, then save the rule as a draft.
- In Simulator, include drafts and inspect the relevant quantities, customer and winning price.
- Enable the rule and engine. Check the intended cart and checkout, including any companion plugins.

When an offer does not appear
| Check | What to review |
|---|---|
| Engine, rule and schedule | Both enable switches are needed, and the current time must fall inside the scheduled window. |
| Customer | Consumer classification and eligible status must both be present. A role alone is insufficient. |
| Products and thresholds | Scope, exclusions, matching whole quantities, catalog spend, price floor and currency. |
| Coupons and other price owners | An applied coupon that is not selected in the settings withholds the offer; store credit and gift cards do not. Protected or externally priced lines are excluded. |
| Overlapping rules | Comparing offer savings or priority can select another qualifying rule. Read the simulation explanation. |
If an offer changes at checkout, refresh the cart and review the new total. Restore a missing expected integration through its owning product before retrying.
Maintain your saved rules
Save a rule as a draft to pause that offer, or pause the engine to stop all offers. Duplicate as draft when creating a related promotion. If a save reports a newer edit, open the saved version and compare it with your retained input.
Export configuration gives you readable settings and rules in JSON. Use a database-and-files backup for full restoration. Uninstall retains rules, settings and order evidence; it does not erase the history of applied offers.
