Seven ways to build an offer
| Offer | How it works |
|---|---|
| Customer picks a freebie from the catalog | Earn a choice through eligible spend or item quantity, then select from the allowed gift pool. |
| Spend an amount, get a reward | Reach a merchandise-spend threshold for a specified gift or customer choice. |
| Buy products, get a specific product | Buy a qualifying quantity and receive your selected product or exact variation. |
| Buy products, choose gifts | Use qualifying item counts to unlock one or more choices. |
| Same-product BOGO | Earn free copies of the same concrete product or variation purchased. |
| Mix and match | Count qualifying products from allowed groups together toward a reward. |
| Spend or buy more, get different rewards | Move through a ladder in which the highest reached level supplies its reward. |
A spend-based catalog offer
For example, let $75 of eligible merchandise earn one chosen gift worth up to $20. Use the whole eligible catalog or select a gift collection, then exclude items that should never be given away.
The gift cap applies to each item. It is a product-selection limit, so a shopper chooses an eligible gift rather than spending a credit balance.
Add a minimum spend to an item-count offer
Measure the qualifying purchase by merchandise spend or item quantity.
Require three qualifying items and at least $75 of eligible merchandise before awarding a gift. Both conditions must pass. This lets an item-count promotion account for purchase value as well as quantity.
For a single-level offer, complete qualifying sets can repeat. Set a maximum number of reward sets per order; the default is one. A zero set limit removes that particular cap.
Choose same-product or mix-and-match behavior
Same-product BOGO
Two paid units of one variation can earn the free copy of that variation. Different variations are assessed as different concrete products.
Mix and match
Combine allowed paid products toward the required count when the offer should reward a selection rather than repeated copies of one item.
The reward is a separate gift line in both cases. Products and variations still need to pass the relevant availability and WooCommerce purchase checks.
