Three ways to manage availability
Scheduled access
Open content at a set time, close it at a set time or define a complete viewing window in the WordPress site timezone.
Coming Soon
Replace matching pages with a launch screen. Use your message or the content of a published public page.
Maintenance
Show a temporary-unavailable screen with HTTP 503 and a Retry-After response. Set the duration or end the mode manually.
Choose the right availability screen
- Coming soon
Introduce the site before public opening.
- Maintenance
Explain temporary work on the site.
- Scheduled access
Open or close the selected content in its time window.
Keep staff access and essential public routes deliberate.

Keep staff access and public routes deliberate
Choose matching pages, exclusions and homepage behavior. Administrators can enter during Coming Soon and Maintenance; additional bypass roles are available for staff who need access.
Add an activation and end time for site modes. A selected screen page appears inside Gate Manager’s layout, so you can keep its content editable in WordPress and style the surrounding screen in Gate Manager.
Give invited visitors a preview
Use an invitation gate as a prerequisite and show the Coming Soon or Maintenance screen only to visitors without that grant. Create a limited invitation for a client, then revoke it when the preview ends.
Site modes manage matching frontend pages. Use your store’s own controls when orders also need to stop through other channels.
