Unified Email Manager / Documentation
The guidance behind the workflows.
Use the Complete Customer Reference to configure Site Emails, templates, campaigns, follow-ups, consent, cart recovery and reporting in Unified Email Manager.
Complete Customer Reference
The 40-page reference covers Unified Email Manager, reference edition 1.0.7, with task-oriented explanations, settings, defaults, examples, operating boundaries and a glossary.
Find the section for your task.
Choose a workflow before choosing a template.
Use Site Emails to adjust an existing notification. Use Event Emails for one additional supported-event message. Choose Sequences for coordinated steps, Newsletters & Campaigns for a reviewed audience, and Abandoned Carts for eligible reminders and protected restoration.
The guide explains which system owns each setting and record, which context a template can use, and how permission and eligibility are checked. It also distinguishes stopping work, clearing analytics, privacy erasure, license deactivation and plugin removal.
Operational reference
Use the status, reason and selected rules to understand pending, skipped, held or unknown work. Avoid resetting unrelated settings to investigate an email.
Sensitive information
Keep usable confirmation, unsubscribe, recovery and credential values out of public support messages. Share only the sanitized details needed for investigation.
Updates and saved work
Update the plugin in place and retain a coordinated backup of the site, database and deployment secrets. Review pending work after deactivation or a move.
Choose the workflow before the template
- Site email
Start with the native event and editable fields.
- Campaign
Choose the audience, message and reviewed run.
- Follow-up
Choose the qualifying event, conditions and timing.
Need help with a specific configuration?
Describe the email source or workflow, the expected result and what the current activity/progress view reports. Include product versions, relevant times and a sanitized screenshot. Support can then focus on the source, transport, recipient rule or scheduler path involved.
