AffStackDev / Installation help
Install your AffStackDev product.
Use this guide to prepare your site, install the correct plugin package and find the product’s own setup controls. Keep the customer guide for your product and version alongside these steps.
1. Prepare your site and installer
- Back up the site and save any unfinished work before installing or updating a plugin. Use a test site when evaluating a new workflow.
- Check the requirements below and the current product guide. Ask your hosting administrator to confirm the PHP version and any extensions requested by the product.
- Have the product’s installable plugin ZIP ready. The larger source-and-documentation release pack is not the ZIP to upload to WordPress. Keep the ZIP compressed.
- If you need the installer or license details supplied for your product, open My Account and the relevant order. If those details are unavailable, contact Support with the product name and order number, where applicable.
2. Upload and activate the plugin
Sign in to your own WordPress administration area with an account allowed to install plugins. Open Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, upload the product’s installable ZIP, then activate the plugin. If your administrator uses a managed deployment process, follow that process instead.
When updating an existing installation, use the product’s update procedure and keep its existing plugin directory. Read and resolve any requirements notice before continuing. Reload the product workspace after updating so its forms match the installed version.
3. Check requirements and open the correct license screen
Products have different menu entries. Find your product below, use the key issued for that product, select the appropriate environment from the options shown and read the result after activation. Enter a complete key only in the product’s native key field; do not send it in a support email.
| Product | Minimum requirements | License or update entry |
|---|---|---|
| AffiliPartnerCS | WordPress 6.9+, PHP 7.4+, active WooCommerce 10.0+ | AffiliPartnerCS → License, or the product’s License area in Suite |
| Store Credit & Gift Cards | WordPress 6.7+, PHP 7.4+, WooCommerce 10.0+ | Store Credit & Gift Cards → License, or its License tab in Suite |
| Unified Email Manager | WordPress 6.5+, PHP 7.4+; WooCommerce for commerce features | Email Manager → License |
| Free Gifts & BOGO | WordPress 6.7+, PHP 7.4+, active WooCommerce 10.0+ | Free Gifts & BOGO → License, or its License tab in Suite |
| Dynamic Pricing | WordPress 6.7+, 64-bit PHP 7.4+, WooCommerce 10.0+ | WooCommerce → Dynamic Pricing → License, or its License tab in Suite |
| B2B for WooCommerce | WordPress 6.6+, 64-bit PHP 8.1+, WooCommerce 9.4+; no network activation | WooCommerce → B2B → License, or its License tab in Suite |
| Support Desk | WordPress 6.5+, PHP 7.4+; WooCommerce is optional for order checks | Support Desk → License, or its License tab in Suite |
| Gate Manager | WordPress 6.0+, PHP 7.4+; WooCommerce is optional | Settings → Gate Manager → License, or its License tab in Suite |
| Image Manager | WordPress 6.5+, PHP 8.1+; single-site only | Media → Image Manager → License & Updates (its free key is for updates), or that tab in Suite |
| AffStackDev Suite | WordPress 6.5+, PHP 7.4+ for the workspace; WooCommerce is optional | AffStackDev → License |
| Theme Manager | WordPress 6.5+, PHP 7.4+; a compatible theme enables Custom Theme | Appearance → Theme Manager → License |
Shared Commerce Core connections have higher requirements: 64-bit PHP 8.1+, WordPress 6.7+ and WooCommerce 10.0+. Keep any higher requirement of the product itself, such as AffiliPartnerCS’s WordPress requirement. Meeting the basic plugin requirements does not establish that every optional integration is ready.
Image Manager’s local media tools do not require an AffStackDev account or update key. Gate Manager and Theme Manager each use their own free license; Unified Email Manager uses its own paid license. Suite needs no key of its own: it is included with your licenses, and its extra features work while any AffStackDev plugin on the same site has an active license.
4. Complete the product’s first-use checks
- Commerce products: configure the intended audience, rules and integrations, then use the product’s preview or simulation controls. Dynamic Pricing starts paused on a new installation; review the rule and engine settings before enabling it.
- Gate Manager: review the intended pages, visitor conditions and appearance. Newly created gates are disabled until explicitly enabled after review.
- Image Manager: review host capabilities and source settings before a scan or optimization run. Activation does not start a scan or turn optimized public delivery on.
- Email Manager and Support Desk: configure the site’s existing mail transport and use the product’s documented test controls. A successful send request is not confirmation that a message reached an inbox.
- Suite and Theme Manager: activate the products or compatible theme you intend to use. Suite’s Discover list does not install plugins; Theme Manager’s Custom Theme controls require a compatible active theme.
Use the product documentation for the complete setup sequence. Verify the customer-facing workflow you are enabling before relying on it for live customers.
5. Updates and activation problems
- Activation pending or timed out: read the saved status and use the product’s documented check or recovery control before entering another key. An interrupted reply does not establish that the server rejected the request.
- No activation slot available: review the installations attached to that product’s license. When retiring a site, use its explicit license-deactivation control if you intend to release the remote activation. Removing plugin files alone may leave that activation in place.
- Copied or moved site: follow that product’s identity or reconnection guidance. Recovery controls differ; do not reset another site’s activation to hide an identity warning.
- Update not available or rejected: review the product’s accepted license and protected-update readiness, then follow its signed-update instructions. Checking for updates is separate from installing an update. Resolve the named host or verification problem with your administrator.
